Connecting souls through music

At A Tempo Music Academy, music is more than just notes on a page. It is a journey, a community, and a way to express who we are. We believe that every child has the potential to grow through music, not just as an artist but as a person.

Through learning, playing, and creating together, our students build confidence, develop friendships, and discover the joy of making music.

More than teaching skills, we are shaping futures, helping young people find their voice, work as a team, and carry the values of harmony and creativity into the world.

We are living proof of one of the most powerful movements in music and education: El Sistema—Venezuela’s National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs. Created by Maestro José Antonio Abreu, El Sistema is based on the belief that music can change lives, build character, and bring people together. It teaches not only how to play an instrument, but how to live with purpose, discipline, and heart.

For more than 25 years, Maestro Abreu was a close mentor to Dietrich. Through that connection, he helped guide the creation of one of the most successful youth orchestras led by Dietrich. Our program today is deeply connected to the roots of El Sistema. It carries the same values that shaped us and gave us direction.

With great love and clarity, Maestro Abreu planted a bright seed in each of us—a seed of hope, unity, and service.

It has grown and continues to bloom as we bring his message to new generations and communities around the world. The deep education we received in Venezuela under his care inspires us every day to share music not just as an art, but as a way to build a better, kinder world.
